The Chelchele farm, managed by Metad, is about 400 km south of Addis Ababa, in the administrative region of the Nations, Nationalities and Peoples of the South. It was established in Yirgacheffe, known on the international scene for the quality of its coffees.
Currently, Metad works with more than 2000 farmers from the vicinity of Gedeb and purchase all or part of their crops. The traceability makes it possible to know these farmers - gathered by associations in the kebeles. And this particular coffee is produced by the farmers of the village of Chelchele.
In Gedeb, Metad has installed a washing station at 2000masl, and the high altitude offers advantages to coffee preparation. Those coffees, which take longer to dry, are also less damaged by insects, here fewer in number. As a result, we can see better quality and more complex profile in a cup.
Aware of the natural heritage of the Gedeo area, Metad values agricultural practices that are more respectful of the environment. In addition, it finances road construction and a primary school for 800 students in the vicinity of the washing station and whose operation it fully ensures.

- Orders of less than AED 150 will be charged AED 15 shipping fee (non-refundable) in case of any cancelation.

- Cash on Delivery (COD) in UAE only with a maximum amount of 3,000 AED
