Kateshi estate is the largest coee plantation owned by Northern Coee Corporation Limited. It is in
Northern Province of Zambia and has 2164 ha of total land of which 777 ha have been planted to coee.
Coee development in the region started way back in 1975 when Zambian Government got funding from
the World bank. Planting of coee was initially done in two estates, Kateshi and Ngoli plantations. The
Zambian Government aimed at diversication and stop dependency on copper production. The coee
company was then called Kasama Coee Company (KCC) and was wholly run by the Zambian Government.
In 2012 Olam took over the ownership of Kateshi estate and other two estates, namely; Ngoli and Isanya. It
has employed 177 contractual employees, 1000 year- round seasonal workers who are engaged in farming
operations and 3500 workers per day during harvest season.
The major variety of coee grown at Kateshi estate is Catimor 129 and the altitude varies between 1330 to
1364 meters above sea level.
Kateshi estate produces specialty coee to niche markets.

Daily Cut-Off Time will be at 05:00 PM - Dubai Time. Orders placed after the cut-off time and/or on any UAE public holiday will be placed on the first day following the date the Order was submitted.

Orders of less than AED 200 will be charged AED 15 shipping fee (non-refundable) in case of any cancelation.
